First of all, apologies, this article doesn’t have much for vegetarians, as the title might have suggested unless you are open to trying chicken, which is completely up to your beliefs, no pressure!
My first memories of KFC is when I first started eating chicken. I was a vegetarian till about four years back, by choice of course, also for no particular reason. So something like what every vegetarian goes through very frequently, I was pestered by my friends to give it a shot. I was open to giving it a shot. There was just one problem, I was scared that chicken might want to take revenge someday. However, since I was going to have my first chicken dish ever, it was enormous pressure on my friends to make it really good. This is going to be a make it or break it deal and if succeeded, they get the honour of converting one person. After a lot of consideration and calculations, KFC was the chosen one. And that is KFC for me, something that made me want to explore non-vegetarian food options. With its chicken so juicy, with perfect marination despite being fried.
A great thing KFC did was starting the fiery grilled chicken. Something of a healthier option which was still delicious. Recently, KFC has launched another member to grilled family. This one is Smoky Grilled Chicken and a burger option this time too for the grilled chicken, called the smoky grilled chicken burger. And needless to say, it’s delicious.
Smoky grilled chicken is a very juicy chicken marinated in a signature smoky sauce and topped with a unique mouthwatering chipotle garlic glaze. Imagine this grilled to perfection. The burger equivalent of this is the same delectable chicken in a bun with fresh salad and creamy sauce. I went on special invitation to taste this awesome grilled chicken and went back on my own for some more.
Normally, there isn’t a need to mention the ambience of a fast food chain like KFC, but the amazing rebranding being done by KFC across Bangalore deserves a mention. The theme is “be the real you” and the environment is that of a hangout cafe. On top of it, every area of Bangalore has a special element to it, which connects you to the surrounding.
Do you have a special KFC experience?
