Like every foodie, I understand the importance of cheese, and like every other fat person, I just love cheese. There is just so much variety and story to every kind of cheese. Makes me want to explore more about it. Yes, it’s on my “to-do” list. The variety of cheese in India is not so great and only a few brands are the ones which are popular. Go Cheese being one of them, I have always loved the kind of cheese that’s offered by Go.
I recently had the pleasure to attend Go Cheese and wine tasting event at Bierre Club organised by Femina India and Go Cheese. Ranveer Brar was a part of the event too, which was a “cheese” on top.
Started off with Stand up comedy very funny guy from EIC, Sahil Shah really kicked started the show. Followed by marketing head of GoCheese, Mr Mahesh Israni giving an introduction about various Go products and the quality they maintain.
And of course the handsome celebrity Chef and TV show host, Ranveer Brar spoke to us about cheese and hosting Cheese tasting. Chef Ranveer spoke mainly around Gouda, Kolby and Cheddar range of cheeses.Chef also spoke about various combinations to be served with cheese. I will try this on my friends by hosting a cheese tasting and update.
While we heard Chef Ranveer, we also tried the cheese platters served and bite-sized mains prepared with Go Cheese. The star of the evening was Beetroot Carpaccio. I have never had a better Beetroot preparation. The credit I believe goes to the delicious Almette Cheese.
And now my favourite part, the desserts. We were served Saffron Crème Syllabub with fresh fruits and Biscotti Crumbles and Almette cheese-topped Humming Bird Cake with edible flowers. I know!! Wow!!
The evening was amazing and top it all, I got my goodie bag of Go Cheese products. I am loving everything out of the bag especially the Almette Cheese. I have always been a fan of Cheese products of Go. It only got better from here.
