I’m a Delhi girl and strictly stereotypically speaking, I love momos. I have tried a lot of momos everywhere and this new outlet in Bangalore amazed me so much. Now, I would request non-vegetarians to give this only vegetarian outlet a chance before dismissing it. Trust me. With just vegetarian options, Momo Jojo serves about 64 types of momos alone. And they are lip-smackingly delicious.
There are eight scrumptious vegetarian flavours of filling and eight preparation styles. For more filling meals there are delicious Chinese Momo woks of noodles and rice. The momo sizzlers in the choice of sauce add more sizzle to the menu.
The ambience is very cool and trendy. A bright and colourful hangout spot. I especially like the sticky notes section, with love of people all over. Overlooking the food street of Koramangala, Momo Jojo seems to fit in seamlessly.
My visit to Momo Jojo was on an invite. Since I quickly became a fan and Momo Jojo is also available for ordering via Swiggy and Runnr, it is my go to place whenever I have momo cravings.
I loved the Raw Mango Tango as a beverage companion to my momo meals. Since there are a lot of flavours available, it was very confusing to pick which flavour and type of momos to go with. There are 2 types of platters, one with types of fillings and one with various types of momos. I will highly recommend the filling sampler for you to explore your favourite filling. You’d be surprised with these vegetarian options and their strong delicious flavours. Makes up for non-availability of non-vegetarian options. The momos are served with three types of dips- Schezwan, Momo Jojo special and a mint dip.
For the main course, I tried Garlic cheese momo sizzler (This is my favourite filling out of all) and hot chilli sauce. One portion of this was too big for me alone, but it was an extremely delightful wholesome meal with rice, fries, skewered vegetables and of course momos.
For sweet tooths like me, a meal doesn’t end without desserts. If you like coconut plus chocolate based desserts, I’d recommend you to go with Choco Bao, else try sizzling brownie with ice cream.
I have by far liked everything I have had from this outlet on my visit as well home delivered meals. The best part being the level of customization that can be done with the dishes here. Mushroom Onion Tandoori momos and sample filling sizzler are highly recommended.
There is one more outlet of Momo Jojo in JP Nagar and Koramangala outlet has maintained the quality of the same. Another Momo Jojo outlet with more seating space is coming up in BTM soon. On an all, a great addition to Koramangala food scene. Do try this frenzy of flavours and amaze yourself.
