Summers are here.! Yayy! Contrary to most people, I just love summers. It must sound childish, but for me, that means lots of ice cream without troubling my overly sensitive throat. And in the beginning of this summers, I was very excited about this new ice cream joint in Koramangala which is serving Thai-style ice cream rolls. I have seen a lot of videos of these, but watching it being made is much cooler.
I happily accepted the invitation for ice cream tasting here. And I was very glad about the first impression of the place. Roll over is right in the “cool area” of Koramangala. You know what I mean. The outlet is very neat and sharp. They are open till late in the night and the staff is quite friendly. Other than ice creams being rolled and served super fancy, I loved the heterogeneity of flavours they offers.
Premium Tastes:
The premium ice creams are 3 rolls of the flavour you pick in a waffle tray. We tried quite a few of these. Guava chilli is one of my favourite flavours these days and the ice cream lived up to the expectations. For me it was the butterscotch caramel popcorn which was quite interesting and topped with caramel popcorn. Next in line was strawberry cheesecake. No, not the cheesecake, that was the ice cream. Topped with the powdered cheesecake like biscuity crust. There were delicious flavours like filter kaapi, cookie dough and crowd favourite paan as well on the menu.
Exotic Tastes
There are exotic sundaes as well here, which has a mousse or a cake, ice cream rolls and a sauce. I just loved the mango madness sundae here. Choco lava therapy was delicious as well. And then there was a showstopper, Roll Over’s Chocolate Karma. A chocolate pie enclosed in a chocolate sphere over a bed of Churro crumbs. Watch the sphere fall apart as you pour hot chocolate sauce over it. The feeling of the chocolate compound and the taste is amazing.
