I was a geeky kid in school and I loved the chemistry lab! As I outgrew it, food became my one true love. But my recent trip to iceperiment, took me back to the chemistry lab, with the little test tubes and beakers and ice cream being freshly made with the help of liquid Nitrogen. The concept is amazing. Because ice cream is made on demand here, we know it doesn’t have any added preservatives and it’s 100% dairy. And because liquid nitrogen crystals are very small, the ice cream is very smooth and creamy.
The menu of iceperiment has a mix of fruits, nuts and chocolate ice creams. I obviously started with the cocktail ice creams. The rum and scotch ice cream has been a hit amongst my friends. Absolutely delicious and flavourful. I moved on to Rose and Gulkand ice cream. I was so happy with the strong gulkand flavour in this one. This one isn’t on the menu, but the owner made it on my special request.
Vegan Ice Creams
The best thing about iceperiment is that they have introduced an ice cream option for vegans and lactose intolerant population. They use coconut milk instead of the regular milk and is priced slightly higher than the normal dairy ice creams, but it is very delicious nevertheless. We had the chocolate coconut ice cream from the vegan section and it was delectable.
SugarFree Ice Creams
So just like special vegan section, there is a sugarfree ice cream as well. I loved the concept, and my friends who like lesser sweet, in general, enjoyed this one thoroughly. We tried the sugarfree oreo ice cream, and it’s a fine choice.
New flavours
The ice creams are very innovative here, as I have mentioned earlier. So from the new flavours section, I loved the fiery chocolate. The first flavours bursting into your mouth is of chocolate. It’s cold, it’s chocolaty.. and then the hotness of paprika hits in. One amazing experience. Another fabulous choice is the lemon ginger ice cream. It’s the flavours you don’t expect, but you love. Low on sugar, this ice cream is for folks who want to try something different.
From the menu, I also liked the Peanut butter ice cream and the tiramisu ice cream. Very strong and pleasing flavours!
